![]() ![]() Nothing worked so I transferred my game files over to the offending computer. We tried changing the DNS, tried changing the file location, used a wired connection, all the aforementioned suggestions. So just an update (I'm the OP's friend.) We never managed to get the patcher working. I can browse with no problem and stream videos as well. "Error: Couldn't resolve host name while downloading". So I let the installer/patcher run for the past 2 hours and it has gotten stuck on a Connection Failure. Along with screenshots of my system specs, the PoE folder, results, and Task Manager Processes (for whatever reason.) Here are screenshots of the installer after 5min, 10 min, and 25 min. Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! I'm very confused about what could be causing this issue because I was able to install and continuously patch the game for the past month without issues. Followed the same steps as above and it downloaded without any issues in around 1-2 hours. To verify it wasn't an ISP issue I went on my laptop, completely uninstalled PoE on the laptop. Turned off Wi-Fi and am using a wwired connection. ![]() Disabled Windows Firewall and Windows Defender. It's been 30 minutes and only 3.25 MB have been downloaded. Everything goes smoothly until it hits the download window where it's just stuck at 0B/sec with random intermittent spurts of instantaneous 20-800KB progression whereby it immediately slows to 0B/sec again. ![]() ![]() After it installs the initial files to C:/Program Files (x86)/Grinding Gear Games/ Path of Exile, I rightclick the PathOfExile icon and Run as Administrator. I then re-downloaded the installer from the PathofExile website and ran the installer. I uninstalled through the Windows Uninstall manager and then I deleted the Grinding Gear Games folder. I've been playing Path of Exile on my relatively new computer for a couple weeks now, but I was having trouble with the last patch so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. ![]()
